Race is nebulous and is on a sliding scale; gender is binary. B.O. would be the first black president until the "real" first black president (deep dark skin, two descended-from-slave parents, all that crap). A woman president is a bigger deal and a more significant change. That's why B.O. makes the better candidate. People say they want change, but are really afraid of it. What we need is a real change, a revolution, get rid of all those clowns and start over.
