Rollei I: [Clicky]Don't know why, but I feel as if I'm in a bit of a slump of late. But, that's ridiculous, right? I have plenty of executable ideas; at least three active projects/collections; and, I'm lousy with wonderful prospective subjects. I'm not yet itchy to make music right now (but I hear vibrations on the rails - but that's not a problem yet).... I'm selling work. I have volunteer PAs.
So what gives? Drowning in success? Not being patient for successes to come? Itchy for career-defining masterpiece? The damn election? Dunno. But whatever it is, it's annoying as hell.
Slump?
Back in the early days of tKoL we used to call it antsy. In fact on Manifesto from tKoL's LA Black (eight years ago?!), the line went, "...used to call it antsy/but now she calls it grumpy."
Perhaps I'm just grumpy.
